5.2 Google User Data We Access

When you use Google services with our application, we access the following types of Google user data:

  • For Google Sign-In:

    • Your profile picture (if available)
    • Your Google account ID
  • For Google Sheets Integration:
    • Spreadsheet data from Google Sheets you explicitly authorize us to access
    • Spreadsheet metadata (title, sheet names, range information) for the sheets you connect

5.3 How We Use Google User Data

We use Google user data solely for the following purposes:

  • Account Creation and Authentication: Google account information is used to create and authenticate your Flowly account, eliminating the need for a separate password
  • Service Functionality: Google Sheets data is used to populate dynamic overlays in your videos. The data is read in real-time or at intervals you configure to keep video content up-to-date
  • Data Processing: Spreadsheet data is processed only to extract values for display in video overlays as configured by you

We do not:

  • Use Google user data for advertising purposes
  • Use Google user data to create advertising profiles
  • Sell Google user data to third parties
  • Use Google user data for purposes unrelated to the Service

5.4 How We Store Google User Data

We store Google user data as follows:

  • Authentication Tokens: We securely store OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens (encrypted) to maintain your connection to Google services. These tokens allow us to access only the data you have authorized
  • Account Information: Your name and email from Google Sign-In are stored in our user database to manage your account
  • Spreadsheet Configuration: We store the spreadsheet IDs and connection settings you configure, but we do not permanently store the actual spreadsheet data. Data is fetched on-demand when your videos are displayed
  • Data Security: All stored data is encrypted at rest and transmitted over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS)

5.5 How We Share Google User Data

We do not share Google user data with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may use secure cloud hosting providers to store encrypted tokens, but these providers do not have access to your Google account or data
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests
  • Your Consent: We may share information if you explicitly consent to such sharing

We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless:

  • You explicitly request support and give us permission to access your data to assist you
  • It is necessary for security purposes (e.g., investigating abuse), compliance with applicable law, or to comply with a valid legal request

5.6 Your Control Over Google User Data

You have full control over your Google user data:

  • Revoke Access: You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page
  • Disconnect Data Sources: You can disconnect Google Sheets data sources at any time from within your Flowly dashboard, which will immediately stop us from accessing those spreadsheets
  • Delete Account: You can delete your Flowly account at any time, which will remove all stored Google account information and OAuth tokens
  • Limit Spreadsheet Access: You control which specific Google Sheets we can access by granting permission only to the spreadsheets you choose to connect

5.7 Data Deletion

When you disconnect a Google Sheets data source or delete your account:

  • All OAuth tokens associated with that connection are immediately deleted
  • All stored configuration data (spreadsheet IDs, connection settings) is permanently deleted
  • We immediately stop accessing your Google Sheets data
  • No cached spreadsheet data is retained (we do not store spreadsheet data beyond what is needed for real-time processing)

You can request complete deletion of all your Google-related data by contacting us at privacy@flowly.video.

5.8 Changes to Google User Data Usage

If we change how we use Google user data in ways that are materially different from what is described in this Privacy Policy, we will:

  • Update this Privacy Policy with the new practices
  • Notify you via email or through in-app notifications of the changes
  • Obtain your consent if required by Google's policies or applicable law

6. Twitter/X User Data and OAuth Services

Our Service integrates with Twitter/X services, including Twitter OAuth for authentication. This section describes how we access, use, store, and share Twitter user data in compliance with Twitter's Developer Policy and Terms of Service.
